The CBR program of PSRD aims at prevention of diseases and disabilities in the rural population through immunization programs and primary health care education. Self employment is another objective to empower women with disabilities, and enhance their potential through small loans and skills training.

Women and children with disabilities were 80 and 7 respectively. 214 children under 2 years were checked and 24 of them were referred to EPI for immunization. Other than these, 62 patients were referred to PSRD hospital and 273 to other hospitals.
Lady doctors of PSRD, assisted by physiotherapy assistants, treated 201, 557, and 28 women and children in Tajpura, Charrar and Ismail Town respectively.
